If you live in the Des Moines area and are expecting or have kids of any age, we can support you!

Right now, we are the only chapter in the Des Moines area. As we grow, anyone is more than welcome to start another chapter for a neighborhood or suburb. Once there is a chapter in your area, you are welcome to remain an affiliate member of our chapter as long as you are a home member of your local chapter. You choose how you want to participate in MAEVE Des Moines. But the more you are involved, the more you get out of being a member!

Yes! We have a variety of parents in our group. Some stay at home, some work part-time and others work full-time at home or outside the home. You can find community and connections in many ways, through parent-only events, play dates, or service initiatives. Check out our schedule of events.

We plan to organize a variety of service initiatives that focus on helping families in need around our community. If you have an idea for a service project, please contact us!

Even if you are not part of our member-only social media groups, you can connect through our events, service projects, and other communications. We also maintain a members-only Google calendar with everything that we’re doing!

MAEVE Des Moines is a member-supported nonprofit. The bulk of our operational costs, community and members-only programming, and charitable service is supported by the generous contributions of our members!
